List knowledge teams

list_knowledge_teams
Read-onlyIdempotent

List your organizations with OKFIndex enabled. Team access uses current account membership, product access and resource sharing on every request. Revocation also blocks search, originals, Markdown, OKF and ZIP downloads with an existing session or key. Sharing a collection grants current and future files in its owner's referenced bases; other owners' bases expose published files only. Sharing does not publish a resource. Only the resource owner changes sharing. The initial grant requires the owner's session with origin and CSRF checks. Organization API keys stay within their existing grants. Responses use private, no-store.

C2.6/5.0
Behavior2/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare readOnlyHint=true, idempotentHint=true and destructiveHint=false, so the safety profile is covered. The description adds only tangential access-control boilerplate (revocation blocking downloads, sharing propagation, CSRF on grants) that is not specific to a listing operation; the one genuinely relevant trait, 'Responses use private, no-store', is buried at the end.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness2/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Six sentences, of which only the first addresses what the tool does; the rest is domain boilerplate that would read identically on dozens of sibling tools. The text is not front-loaded around the tool's actual behavior, and several sentences (revocation, CSRF, API keys) do not earn their place here.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness2/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a zero-parameter list tool with no output schema, the description should at least characterize what a returned 'knowledge team' contains or how results are scoped/filtered. Instead it spends its length on sharing and revocation rules, leaving the return semantics unexplained.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

The tool takes zero parameters, so the schema requires no interpretation and the description has nothing to compensate for. Baseline is 4 for a parameterless tool.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose3/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The opening sentence does give a verb and resource ('List your organizations with OKFIndex enabled'), but it calls the resource 'organizations' while the tool name/title says 'knowledge teams', creating ambiguity about what is actually listed. It also never distinguishes this tool from the many team/list siblings such as get_base_team, get_collection_team, or the team_* listing family.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines2/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

There is no statement of when to call this versus other list/get tools, and no prerequisites beyond generic access rules. The remaining sentences describe authorization semantics, not when-this-tool-is-appropriate guidance.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
