Traffic_Health_Check

Sanity-check that Search Console and GA4 agree on how much organic traffic a site gets. Compares Search Console clicks against GA4 organic sessions for the same window and returns the ratio plus a diagnosis: under 0.5 means tracking_gap (GA4 is missing traffic Search Console can see, often a missing or misfiring tag), over 1.5 means over_counting (GA4 is crediting organic sessions Search Console never sent, often a tagging or medium-classification issue), otherwise healthy. A 10 to 20 percent mismatch either way is normal: the two systems count different events and attribute differently around redirects and consent banners, so only flag the extremes.

TDQS

A4.3/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

With no annotations, the description carries the full behavioral burden and does well: it discloses the returned ratio and diagnosis, the threshold values that trigger each diagnosis, and the crucial caveat that normal attribution/consent/redirect differences produce 10-20% mismatch. It omits prerequisites such as required data-source connections or failure behavior when one source is missing.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness5/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with the core comparison, then thresholds, then the normalization caveat. Every sentence earns its place and each adds distinct decision-relevant information despite the length.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

With no output schema, the description must explain the return value and does: ratio plus a categorical diagnosis, with the thresholds that map numbers to labels. For a 2-parameter read tool this is complete enough for an agent to call and interpret correctly.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 50%: days is documented in the schema (with min 1, max 480 and default 28), but site_id has no description in either the schema or the description. The description adds no parameter meaning, though site_id is a self-evident identifier used across sibling tools, making the baseline 3 appropriate.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource: sanity-checking agreement between Search Console and GA4 organic traffic. It names the exact comparison (GSC clicks vs GA4 organic sessions) and what it returns (ratio plus diagnosis), which clearly distinguishes it from siblings like Search_Analytics or Site_Analytics.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives strong interpretive guidance: thresholds (under 0.5 = tracking_gap, over 1.5 = over_counting, else healthy) and explicitly says a 10-20% mismatch is normal so only extremes should be flagged. It does not name when to prefer an alternative sibling tool or state prerequisites (e.g. both GSC and GA4 must be connected), so it stops short of explicit when/when-not routing.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
