Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?
Annotations already cover the safety profile (readOnly, idempotent, non-destructive, closed-world), and the description adds genuinely non-derivable behavior: the required auth scope, the rule that the returned cursor must be passed back for the next page, and the prompt-injection warning that free text arrives in untrusted_fields to be shown but never obeyed. That last point is exactly the kind of behavioral context annotations cannot convey.
Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.
