Go back
browser_backGo back one history entry in the delegated tab. back and forward move exactly one browser history entry. After a cancelled sign-in, the sign-in page can remain in history, so one extra back may be needed to pass it. While a browser sign-in prompt is up, back cancels that prompt and returns the page the tab is actually on. It does not also step history. A history entry that is a form submission returns FORM_RESUBMISSION_REQUIRED and is not reloaded or resubmitted. Use navigate instead. NO_HISTORY_ENTRY means nothing in that direction. ORIGIN_NOT_ALLOWED means an entry exists but is outside the allowed origins or is not a web page; the tab is not moved (recoverable).
Input Schema
| Name | Required | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| sessionId | Yes | ||
| idempotencyKey | No | A key replays the original result only within ~60 seconds of the first call, only for the same Mcp-Session-Id, the same credential (API key or OAuth token), the same browser session, and the same tool. After the window, or under a different session/credential/tool, the call executes and bills normally. Reusing a key with different arguments returns IDEMPOTENCY_KEY_REUSED and is not executed or billed. Refusals (e.g. NO_HISTORY_ENTRY) are not cached, so the same key re-executes once state changes. A key passed in _meta is ignored. |
