create-content-series

Create a content series - a planning record inside a project the signed-in user can add to, in their own Bardiyah workspace. Use this when several planned videos belong together as a season or a recurring format. It only records the title, kind and description you provide; it creates no playlist, publishes nothing, and fetches nothing from YouTube or any other outside service. Scripts and ideas are attached to a series in Bardiyah, not from here.

TDQS

A4.1/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare the non-read-only, non-destructive, closed-world profile; the description goes further and discloses exactly what will and will not happen -- 'creates no playlist, publishes nothing, and fetches nothing from YouTube or any other outside service'. That is genuine value beyond the flags. It omits any note on return value or whether the record is immediately visible/editable, keeping it at a 4.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with the definition, then usage, then scope boundaries -- a good ordering. Four sentences with little waste, though 'in their own Bardiyah workspace' and the final sentence about scripts and ideas are slightly redundant with what precedes them.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a create tool with full annotations, complete schema coverage, and no output schema, the description covers what is created, where it lives, and what side effects are avoided. The remaining gap is whether `project` or `project_id` is expected and what happens if neither is supplied -- an agent could still be unsure about project placement.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100% and every property is documented, so the baseline is 3. The description adds a small amount ('only records the title, kind and description you provide', loosely mapping 'kind' to the `type` parameter), but it says nothing about `project` vs `project_id` precedence or that only `title` is required, so it does not meaningfully out-perform the schema.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource ('Create a content series') and immediately defines the resource as 'a planning record inside a project ... in their own Bardiyah workspace'. This distinguishes it from list-content-series and get-content-series, which read rather than create, and from create-project/create-script, which target different record types.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives an explicit triggering condition: 'Use this when several planned videos belong together as a season or a recurring format.' That is a clear context for selection. It stops short of naming an alternative (e.g. create-project for non-series groupings) or a when-not-to-use case, so it falls short of a 5.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
