gemma chat completions

gemma_chat_completions
Read-only

OpenAI-compatible chat completions on Google Gemma 4 26B, reasoning and tool calling. Set your OpenAI SDK base URL to https://agentrxi.com/v1/gemma and pay per token with x402 instead of an API key: $0.3 per million input and $0.9 per million output tokens, minimum $0.002 a call, at most $0.0078. The 402 quotes your request's maximum; "upto" payers are charged only the tokens used. Same request/response shape as OpenAI (tool calling, reasoning, streaming supported), up to 4096 output tokens. Costs $0.0078 USDC per call (x402).

TDQS

A4.3/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations give only readOnlyHint/openWorldHint; the description adds substantial behavioral context beyond them: the x402 payment model with no API key, tiered pricing, min/max call cost, the 402-quote mechanics for 'upto' payers, per-call USDC cost, a 4096 output-token ceiling, and support for streaming, tool calling and reasoning.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with what the tool is and its model, which is the right priority. It is somewhat pricing-heavy and the $0.0078 figure is stated twice, a minor redundancy, but each clause otherwise earns its place.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For an endpoint with no output schema, the description covers response shape (OpenAI-compatible), output-token limits, auth/payment, and feature set (tools, reasoning, streaming). It is nearly complete; only error/402-handling behavior for callers is left implicit.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is only 33%, so the description must compensate, and 'same request/response shape as OpenAI' is a strong signal that messages/temperature/max_tokens/tools follow OpenAI conventions. It also notes tool calling, reasoning and streaming, though it never explains individual params like temperature or max_tokens.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb+resource (OpenAI-compatible chat completions) and names the exact underlying model (Google Gemma 4 26B). In a sibling set crowded with model-specific chat endpoints (llama4_chat_completions, qwen_chat_completions, etc.), naming the model is exactly what lets an agent select this one correctly.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Gives concrete setup guidance (point the OpenAI SDK base URL at the /v1/gemma endpoint, pay per token via x402 instead of an API key), which implies usage context. However it never says when to prefer Gemma over the dozens of sibling model endpoints, so model-selection guidance is left to inference.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
