Arrange the workspace home page

set_home

Turn the workspace home page https://.hy.24haowan.com/ into one link that holds everything (for a social-media bio, a WeChat signature or a business-card QR code): 1–3 pinned large cards, section headings, external link cards (website, shop, social accounts…) and contact buttons (add-on-WeChat QR code, phone, email, or one item). Call with no arguments to read the current state (layout, links, contact buttons, clicks in the last 7 days). Items are refs: p:, f:, l: (add links first with links_add; with section they go straight into that section).

  • layout replaces the whole layout {pinned, sections:[{title, items}], rest:"auto"|"none", hidden}; null restores the automatic layout. Or pass only sections / rest, or use pin / unpin / hide / show.

  • rest=auto: public pages not placed anywhere follow, newest first; none: only pinned and sectioned items show.

  • hide: do not list a page / folder on the home page without changing its own visibility (its link still works); show undoes it. ★ The home page is a showcase, not a key: it only shows content that is itself public or passcode-protected; private items placed in the layout stay invisible to readers (the result names them). The home page is members-only by default; to share it, ask the user and then use set_visibility(home: true). ★ External links accept https / tel / mailto only; readers first see a “leaving LivePage” page, which also counts the click. ★ Free: pinning, sections, external links, contact buttons. Premium (workspace owner): theme colour and banner image. Editors and owners can call it.

TDQS

A4/5.0
Behavior1/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

The annotations declare destructiveHint=false, but the description explicitly says layout replaces the whole layout and links_remove deletes external links; empty banner/contact values can also remove existing content. This directly contradicts the non-destructive annotation, so per the rules the behavioral transparency score is 1.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The description front-loads the purpose and then uses compact bullets for layout, visibility, links, and premium limits. It is long, but the length is largely justified by the 13-parameter surface; some dense repetition around layout behavior keeps it from being maximally concise.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a complex 13-parameter mutation tool with no output schema, it covers the important context: read mode, permissions, free vs premium behavior, private-item invisibility, external-link restrictions, and the interaction with set_visibility. An agent has enough information to call it correctly.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

With 13 parameters and only 69% schema description coverage, the description adds substantial meaning: item refs use p:/f:/l:, layout replaces the whole layout while null restores automatic, rest=auto/none controls unplaced public pages, hide/show do not change page visibility, and contact buttons have 1-3 items with the first as primary. It still leaves some details, such as the bio and theme enum, mostly to the schema.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The opening sentence states a specific verb and resource: it turns the workspace home page into a single shareable link with pinned cards, sections, links, and contact buttons. It also distinguishes related actions such as links_add and set_visibility, so the agent can tell what this tool owns.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines5/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

The description explicitly says to call with no arguments to read current state, to add links first with links_add, and to use set_visibility(home: true) when sharing the home page. It also states the editor/owner permission requirement and explains the showcase visibility constraint.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
