Kulhad

Add a UPI ID

add_upi_id

Add a UPI ID for supporters to pay into. Kulhad cannot check that an address is real or that it belongs to the creator, so tell them to send one rupee to it themselves and confirm it arrived before sharing the page.

A3.7/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already declare this is a non-read-only, non-idempotent, open-world write, so the safety profile is covered. The description adds genuinely non-structured context: the platform cannot validate the address's ownership, so the agent must direct the creator through a self-verification step. That is real behavioral guidance beyond the annotations.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Two sentences, purpose front-loaded and the caveat second, with no filler. Slightly terse given the verification instruction packs four ideas (no validation, self-test, wait, then share) into one sentence, but nothing is wasted.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

An output schema exists, so return values need no explanation, and annotations cover the mutation profile. The description supplies the one thing an agent could not infer — that address validity is unverifiable and needs a manual check. Adequate for a three-parameter write tool.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema coverage is 100% with all three parameters described (including examples for vpa and label), so the schema carries the load. The description adds no syntax, formatting, or constraint detail beyond it, which matches the baseline for high-coverage schemas.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose4/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource ('Add a UPI ID') plus the downstream purpose ('for supporters to pay into'), which cleanly separates it from siblings like update_upi_id or set_default_upi_id. It stops short of naming an alternative explicitly, so it is clear but not fully sibling-differentiated.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines3/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It gives a useful workflow condition (verify by sending one rupee before sharing the page) but says nothing about when to add a new UPI ID versus updating an existing one, which is the most likely selection ambiguity given the sibling set. Usage context is implied rather than framed against alternatives.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
