Open Questions

open_questions

Keep your list of the questions you asked the creator and are still waiting on. Free. action "ask": record every question you are about to ask (questions: a list of { question, topic, choices? }; topic is one of music, voice, sound, shape, picture, video, style, choice); then ask them all at once. While a question is open, the paid steps it depends on are refused (music for music, voices for voice, sound effects for sound, pictures, clips and renders for shape, picture and video, everything that makes something for style and choice). action "answer": when the creator answers, pass question_id and creator_words, copied from their own message; you can never answer for them, and a reply that answers only part leaves the rest open, so ask again in one line. action "list": what is still open.

TDQS

A4.5/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Beyond the annotations, the description explains that the tool is free, records questions in a stateful list, and causes paid steps to be refused while a matching question is open. It also discloses answer-handling behavior: creator_words must be copied from the creator's message, the agent cannot answer on their behalf, and partial answers leave remaining questions open.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The purpose and free-status are front-loaded, and the action labels make the multi-action behavior scannable. The text is dense and contains a lengthy parenthetical mapping of topics to refused paid steps, but nearly all of it earns its place given the tool's gating behavior.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

For a stateful, multi-action tool with no output schema, the description covers the critical actions, gating rules, and answer constraints an agent needs to call it correctly. It leaves the exact return shape of ask and list implicit and does not mention project_id, though the schema documents that parameter.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

With 100% schema description coverage, the baseline is 3, but the description adds meaningful semantics: topic controls which paid operations are blocked, questions are recorded before being asked, and answer requires question_id plus creator_words copied from the creator. It does not add guidance for project_id, so it falls short of full coverage in the description itself.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description states the resource and lifecycle clearly: it keeps the list of questions asked to the creator that are still open, and it enumerates ask, answer, and list actions. It also distinguishes the tool from generation siblings by explaining that open questions gate paid steps rather than generating media itself.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines4/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It gives action-specific usage: use ask to record every question before asking them all at once, answer when the creator replies, and list to see what is still open. It also states constraints such as never answering for the creator and partial answers leaving the rest open, but it does not explicitly name an alternative tool or when not to use this one.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
