Get DOJ FARA Enforcement Counts
foreign_agents_enforcementDOJ's own FARA administration and enforcement figures from its four semi-annual reports to Congress for 2024 and 2025, by half-year, exactly as the register publishes them: books-and-records inspections, civil causes of action, the criminal count with DOJ's own unit and measure, DOJ's enforcement sentences quoted verbatim, and the Statistical Summary (registration statements, terminations, registrants and foreign principals on file, short-form statements, agreements, fees and advisory opinions), with each report's posting date and the statistics note: DOJ's counts differ from the entries its listing prints and are shown as DOJ's, never reconciled. No person is named, and no motive or policy reason is given or implied. Registration under FARA is a legal disclosure, not a finding of wrongdoing; in the Justice Department's words, registration "does not indicate approval by the United States Government of the activities of registered agents". These are DOJ's counts, a separate measure from FARA receipts, LDA filing counts and PAC contributions, and never added to them.
