HODDS

Set the subscribed processes

set_creator_processes
Idempotent

Replaces the list of subscribed processes. Without an active subscription the result has status 402 and a Stripe Checkout destination for a person to open. With one, an addition through this tool also answers status 402 with the Plan page as destination: nothing is charged here, only the page charges, after a person confirms it. Removals apply at once and the removed processes stay readable until the end of the paid period. An empty list is refused (empty_selection): use cancel_creator_plan. Contract 0.3.1. Needs an organisation token (Authorization: Bearer hodds_...); without it the tool returns the error token_required.

A4.8/5.0
Behavior5/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Beyond the annotations, it discloses key behavior: 402 responses, Stripe Checkout and Plan page destinations, that no charge occurs through this tool, immediate removals with continued readability until the paid period ends, empty-list refusal, and token-based authentication requirements. These are precisely the operational details an agent needs before invoking it.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

The description is front-loaded with the core action and remains information-dense, but the billing/status sentence is somewhat convoluted. Most sentences earn their place, including the auth and empty-list caveats.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness5/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

Given the mutation semantics, billing implications, auth requirement, and output schema, the description is complete enough to call the tool correctly. It covers failure modes, side effects, and the alternative for empty selections.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters4/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

The schema exposes the allowed process IDs and required array, while the description adds key semantics not encoded in the schema: the call replaces the full list, an empty list is invalid, and cancellation should be used instead. It does not explain the enum values further, but the schema enum is self-contained.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

The description states a specific verb and resource: it replaces the list of subscribed processes. It also distinguishes the operation from cancellation by saying an empty list is refused and should use cancel_creator_plan instead.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines5/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

It explicitly covers when this tool applies, what happens without an active subscription, what happens when adding with a subscription, and directs empty selections to cancel_creator_plan. The agent has clear routing guidance without needing to infer alternatives.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
