wiki_get_space_with_pages

Read-onlyIdempotent

Fetch a wiki space AND its complete page tree in one call. Returns WikiSpaceWithPagesDTO — space metadata plus pages (a recursive tree of WikiPageTreeNodeDTO with slug, title, type=page|folder, hasChildren, children[], view count, top reactions, the caller's effectivePermission per node). Use this to render or traverse the whole space; for a single level (root or one parent's children) wiki_list_pages is lighter. API-key scope: wiki:spaces:read.

Input Schema

NameRequiredDescriptionDefault
accountNoMulti-account auth only: name of the account from X-Dutify-Accounts to use for this call. Ignored in single-account mode (X-API-Key header). When multiple accounts are configured and this is omitted, the call fails with ACCOUNT_REQUIRED listing the available names. list_accounts never requires a selection.
spaceKeyYesUppercase space key
workspaceNoWorkspace identifier or exact name for this call. Overrides the configured workspace. For personal keys, discover candidates with list_workspaces and select explicitly. Does not change other calls or expand a workspace key's access.

A4.3/5.0
Behavior4/5

Does the description disclose side effects, auth requirements, rate limits, or destructive behavior?

Annotations already cover read-only, idempotent, non-destructive, closed-world, so the bar is lower; the description still adds real context: the payload includes every node's effectivePermission for the caller and requires the `wiki:spaces:read` API-key scope. It stops short of noting tree-size/depth limits or whether the whole tree is returned unbounded, which is the main practical risk of a recursive fetch.

Agents need to know what a tool does to the world before calling it. Descriptions should go beyond structured annotations to explain consequences.

Conciseness4/5

Is the description appropriately sized, front-loaded, and free of redundancy?

Front-loaded with purpose, then return shape, then the alternative, then the scope requirement — a good ordering. The DTO field enumeration is dense but earns its place since there is no output schema; a small amount of jargon could be trimmed.

Shorter descriptions cost fewer tokens and are easier for agents to parse. Every sentence should earn its place.

Completeness4/5

Given the tool's complexity, does the description cover enough for an agent to succeed on first attempt?

With no output schema, the description compensates by enumerating the returned tree node fields (slug, title, type, hasChildren, children, view count, reactions, effectivePermission) and naming the required API scope. Missing only practical limits on tree size or performance that an agent would want before invoking it on a large space.

Complex tools with many parameters or behaviors need more documentation. Simple tools need less. This dimension scales expectations accordingly.

Parameters3/5

Does the description clarify parameter syntax, constraints, interactions, or defaults beyond what the schema provides?

Schema description coverage is 100%, and the account/workspace/spaceKey semantics are fully documented there. The description adds nothing about the parameters beyond implying space scoping, so the baseline 3 applies.

Input schemas describe structure but not intent. Descriptions should explain non-obvious parameter relationships and valid value ranges.

Purpose5/5

Does the description clearly state what the tool does and how it differs from similar tools?

States a specific verb and resource with scope: fetch a wiki space AND its complete page tree in one call. It names the contrasting sibling (wiki_list_pages) so an agent can distinguish the two without opening either schema.

Agents choose between tools based on descriptions. A clear purpose with a specific verb and resource helps agents select the right tool.

Usage Guidelines5/5

Does the description explain when to use this tool, when not to, or what alternatives exist?

Explicitly says to use this to render or traverse the whole space, and that wiki_list_pages is lighter for a single level (root or one parent's children). Both the when and the alternative are stated.

Agents often have multiple tools that could apply. Explicit usage guidance like "use X instead of Y when Z" prevents misuse.
